They are using an address in the Forge zone to attend Forge but their real primary address is elsewhere.

And the Drama has started. The Houston's have purchased a home in the Forge zone. Levi E also will reside in the Forge zone.

Helms from Matoaca wants to go to St. Chris. I know they have a placement test that the student MUST PASS before they can attend. Maybe he didn't pass the test?

I see this story every year regarding one school or another. To be honest, schools need to make the same commitment to wrestling that Forge and Christiansburg has in the past. They made the commitment, attracted top notch wrestlers, and now they are programs that are self-fulfilling, in that they attract top talent. Big deal.

No.. don't really need to move... just need to provide "an address in the Forge zone" to the school.

If you knew the rules, just providing address would not get you admitted to the school. People like you are the reason so much drama gets started on these forms that are suppose to be dedicated to wrestling.

So you didn't really answer the question. Did he move? From what I've heard he was supposed to attend another HS and was having difficulty getting into Forge.

Englman moved and was 'into' Forge well before school started and has been there since the first day of school. As have the Houston's and Antonio Kibler.

They just have address's of someone they know that lives in the Forge zone and know the loop holes in the system to attend the HS they want too. Levi was zoned to attend Stafford HS, Kibler was zoned for Mt View but because his Dad Tom does not like the Mt View Coach he transferred him to Stafford and same thing happened there with Tom not liking the Stafford Coach so now he has transferred him to Forge even though Kibler's real address has not changed which is zoned for Mt View. I'm sure it won't be long before Tom is not happy with the Forge Coaches and maybe transfers Antonio to another HS in Stafford County, just funny because Tom used to talk trash on Coach Swink and the Forge program and like I said before it won't be long before Tom blows his top and starts hating the Forge Coaches again.

You list the teams and the reason why they are ranked. The top three wrestlers. Looks like RICHARDS from matoaca might go head to head with the top one of the top three of the other school. How would that work. I mean their top 2 and mataoca top two win. Then it would come down two richards. Guess he will lose.
**** Noted, adjusted, appreciated.****
Not really sure what you are asking, can you elaborate?
Thank you, Admin

Any chance of energizing this forum to talk about the team rankings? I think from their performances at the Elite Opener, Colonial Forge and Christiansburg are the clear #1 and #2 but... then there's the rest.

Christiansburg is very young this year 10 of the 14 starters are freshmen or sophomores. Lead by Keller, Whitehurst, Giantonio, and Whiteshull.

They may have freshmen and sophs listed on the roster but many of those kids are physically a year more mature than their grade listing as many spend an extra year in Middle School. Seems to be a fairly common practice among the elite programs. They will be tough as usual this year. What weight is the younger Giantonio starting at?
