I would just remove Bowers. Obviously people do not like him or the name. He is fine with not being there, just like his little brother at 170. They will just show up and wrestle.

LOL. It would seem that they don't believe he should be ranked as high as he is. I had a chance to catch him and his "little" brother last summer and they both looked pretty tough. At this point, unless a major win or loss occurs, I will probably keep him where he is at based on his victory over Inserra. In addition, Tommy Whitaker is no walk in the park, and his victory against him adds some substance.

I hope the wrestlers not represented or under-represented prove these rankings wrong.
As Mr. Observer stated, "They will just show up and wrestle." I hope this is the attitude every wrestler has when it comes to rankings. It is often an internal conflict for me to even do them, because I wonder how many wrestlers let the information, accurate or inaccurate, affect them psychologically.
Good luck to you all. I have the upmost respect for anyone that steps on the mat, regardless of result.

You have Corey Leonard listed at 120. He had been wrestling 132, but haven't seen him in any results for over a month. You may want to look into that one.

Does anyone have an answer for that? I haven't been able to find out much information.

I think Valdez should be ranked higher, I could be mistaken though. I believe he beat freeman last year at Tallwood's tournament 1-0, and this year he has defeated Jefferson. The Highest returning state placer other than Pinkston. Any clarification?
**** Noted, adjusted, appreciated.****
Well let's see....
Loss to Skidmore Win over Jefferson
2012 Returners Pinkston - 2nd Jefferson - 5th Freeman - 7th Fain - 8th
Am I wrong about this?

Observer, Fight2theEnd/Administrator is absolutely correct... The contributions provided are by no means intended to be taken personal or intended to show a preference for 'liking or disliking anyone'. Given the inherent depth and complexity of the 138 pound division the hope has only been to simply provide data/information for those doing the rankings to help them with their best guess assessments (this is all subjective). The fact that Bowers has earned a win over Inserra certainly warrants his merit on the list. As you can see, this division is very competetive and even more difficult to reconcile a best guess ranking 1-10... Pointing out that Jacobson also has a win over Inserra, and yet as a two time state qualifier, and a state placer does not take anything away from Bowers... Only intended to help 'Admin' with additional insight... Do not envy his job... If you are a friend, coach or parent of the Bowers boys would encourage you to share their tournament results as well... Without it wrestlers ranked below him/them might think that Admin doesn't like them... Thanks Sean for all your efforts...

In looking at results on Trackwrestling, it seems you may want to give consideration at 152 to Christian Tolderlund from Princess Anne High School. I'm not sure if he's undefeated, but if he's lost it probably hasn't been too many times. He won over Csenar from Kellam in a fairly convincing fashion (only going by the score), and may only be second to Taylor Misuna from Grassfield. Guesstimation is he looks like a Top 6 kid. Just food for thought. Thank you for taking the time to put together your rankings and giving these youngsters well deserved recognition!

Has some decent wins, and he lost to Brendan May (top 5 VISAA wrestler, 152) and Logan Shurina (top 5 AA wrestler, 160). I will take a look.

VAWrestling, Admin,
Just to ensure we are being consistent with substantiating confirmation requirements bestowed upon others on this forum (ie date/event), just curious to confirm which offseason tournament @138 Bowers defeated Jacobson? Wanna make sure it wasn't Justic Jacobs from Brentsville... Saw where C. Bowers placed 3rd at MAWA Dist event at Faquier behind Combs and Marino at 145, but haven't seen the bracket results to confirm a win over Jacobson?
**** Noted, adjusted, appreciated.****
Good question. I appreciate the fact that you are interested in substantiating the data, I am always concerned about the validity of what is reported and to try to verify. It looks like we got an answer.

According to trackwrestling Looks like Joey Reilly (Herndon) has recently made a move/statement in dropping from 145 to 138...
01/26/2013 138 Joey Reilly (Herndon) won by pin over Casey Bowers (C.D. Hylton) 0:00
12/01/2012 145 William Inserra (N.Stafford) won by decision over Joey Reilly (Herndon) 9-2.
**** Noted, adjusted, appreciated.****
I did see this in Trackwrestling, but based on Observer138's report, it is inaccurate. I have seen inaccuracies before in Track, as it is only as reliable and the person entering the information.

Looks good Old Timer... Agree with several of the CW place switchups/rematches with Rafferty finishing ahead of Swan, and Kelly ahead of Harris...
Although - Would consider Hand (WB) as the potential upset of the night to take the 285 title...
