1. Colonial Forge - Just a ton of returning talent. Grayson, Nail, and Stone lead the way. 2. Robinson - Lost a lot, but still has a ton. Not quite enough to overtake Forge. Depasquale, Rockman, Riggs will be tough. 3. Hanover - Their big three, Gregory, C. Allen, and TJ Allen, are as good as any three in the state. 4. Fauquier - A ton of returning talent. Raines, Tingen, Ariola. 5. Christiansburg - Bolen, Lump, and the Giantonio brothers will lead the way. This group could easily be in the top two. B. Matoaca - Richards leads an always tough and gritty team. Gordon will be missed, but Wilmer and Helm will be there. B. Westfield - Lost a lot of talent, but they are always in the mix. B. Mountain View - Some placers coming back, including Beltran. B. Lake Braddock - Wiles and company will still be strong. B. Great Bridge - Enough returners to keep them in the hunt. B. Skyline - Always strong.

Here is my first shot at 6A team Ranking! Enjoy and feedback is appreciated.
These ranking are projections based on the individual format at the state finals. 1. Colonial Forge – Could possibly place 14 guys, with 4 finalists 126, 138, 170 and 220. Depth will prove to be too much for anyone to push for this top spot. 2. Robinson – They will reload as their JV guys dominated the Northern Region JV championships. In addition to the incoming talent thy already have guys who are proven and battle tested in Book, Greyson, Rockman, Riggs, Hazard and Depasquale. 3. Lake Braddock – Braddock returns lightweight firepower with the three of them potentially winning a title puts them in position to take home some hardware. They will also have contributors through the middle of their lineup. 4. Forest Park – The Bruins will have 5 placers and maybe more. Baldwin and Rider will be battling for a title shot. 5. Westfield – Justin Yorkdale leads the way for Westfield looking to repeat last season’s title. His brother will also look to get a bid to the finals in what could be the toughest weight in 6A. Aiello, Knies and Karaaslan will also be in the mix . 6. Chantilly – These guys can make a push for hardware as they have depth, but not a standout guy. It looks like they could have 9 placers, which could catapult them into 3rd or even Runner Up depending on how they finish. Can we say Dark horse!?!? 7. Osbourn Park – Yellow Jackets will look to put a solid season together with their young talent. Maile, Curtis, Sniffen and Torres-Bri among others will definitely look to make some noise and a name for themselves. Again watch out, these guys are another dark horse. 8. Kecoughtan – 3 known guys with sure firepower and will catch you if you’re not ready, tough kids! 9. Hayfield – Returns a Fargo AA in Antonio Agee and a group of guys who have traveled the Country this summer developing a wealth of experience. Coach Hill is a great coach and will put together a solid squad. 10. Centreville – Lead by Tyler Love who will look to double up on individual state championships and cap off a nice career at Centreville will be joined by Echeverria who will likely be 100% and compete for a title as well. The wildcats will have a few other guys on the team who will look to break through the region and get an all-state bid. Honorable Mention: CD Hylton, Battlefield, Oscar Smith
