i dont write for the roanoke times either.......does that mean i cant tell the sports writer he is off.......but since we are playing along heres some quick laughs for you......aiello pinned winters, dont see amos getting pinned(or losing for that matter to a non finalist...amos is a state champ for a reason........195 walker has lost twice this year..once to henderson,man..yet he is ranked 4th?! ev's brown 170 is undefeated , he on 'watch" but sorey who has lost 5 times is ranked?!......your last ranking had pedigo ranked last(as a state champion) and smeltzer a st. qualifer(not a placer) he maj.'s him like a first yr. wrestler.......its like you wait for h2h to adjust(bs), 182lbs this yr. and last yrs. st. champ gayle has already lost 3xs yet he is ranked at 195 but wrestling at 182...makes no sense.....gamboni is at 182...once again clueless....tre'shoun rodgers, oscar smith is undeated at 195 but he is not ranked...hell he isnt even on your watch list, yet vawa has him ranked top 7...again, just out there....r. graham was good enough to be your #2 last ranking but now that e. seay beat him ....he is not worthy of the 2nd spot?! go figure...160 how are you gonna put a runner up ahead of a state champ? wassif over sanders...6a bias perhaps? say it aint so. further more i dont see him on any of his team results(im sure he is wrestling for you to rank him), you have serpas(lost 2x at st.) isnt on the team or at least i dont see any results. k. branch ranked by you was maj'd 12-4 by oberg(5th reg. at 182, who was pinned by a poq.wrestler)....285 Adeeb Atariwa pinned b.avery(sher) yet he is ranked two spots ahead of him? ... If you had posted this the first time I most likely would not have responded. Many times people post that something is ridiculous without any justification. Pretty simple if you ask me, sorry I stepped on your toes.

Jay was fortunate to beat Winters. Jay was able to catch him on a shot and pin him. This was a 1 in 1000 outcome. Also, Winters, Agee, Jonathan were all at 6a 182 last year, and beside those three there were two other returning state champions in the weight. This might have been most loaded upper weight class I've seen at 6a states.

SUPER 32 - October Gavin Hoffman 5, Winters 4 POWERADE - December Bushman 3, Gavin Hoffman 1 Aeillo pins Winters, but was a 1 in 1,000 shot? And Winters is still the best 220... Sure.

Wasn't worthy of Flo to record it BUT... I was there and watched. Winters stalled and stalled. Score went Hoffman. I'll stop with common opponents. Many more but it doesn't matter. Winters is the man according to this forum. No changing that.

Winters is the man according to this forum. No changing that. It's evident you didn't watch the match. It was Hoffman who was stalling. You didn't have to record the match. It is in flowrestlibg for you to go back and watch. So let's just agree on this. Winters has put it in on the line more than Amos. Both are dame good wrestles, but body of work does mean something in this sport. where even the best lose. That is what makes this sport so great.

No doubt that Winters has put it on the line, but who has he beat that is nationally ranked? Amos' national wins have been listed, what are Winters'?

I was Hoffman stalling and as you can see by the time on the clock, Winters won that match.

Ok, at 220 Winter's competition has been less than exceptional. He stopped wrestling at national tournaments when his weight could no longer sustain 195. He looks like he hasn't missed a meal at 220. Not a dig, he just looks very soft. Same when he was at 195 to be honest.
Guess we just have to live with Winters being the chosen one.

What the hell are you talking about, he stop wrestling at national tournaments when his weight could no longer sustain 195. That tells me you don't know what you are taking about. Winters didn't wrestle during the summers, due to having knee surgery. No one is saying he's the chosen one, this kid has earned it. So what you are saying the completion at Beast, Escape the Rock, and VA Duals was less than exceptional. I got it, you win.

Really rankings is about wins and loses. Amos obviously has better loses than Winters, but Winters travels more than Amos so that can be justified. That being said Amos has better wins than Winters which shouldn't be the case considering Winters travels more. I think that's an obvious move to bump Amos ahead of Winters.
