At the very least, I would say he is involved and dedicated to wrestling. He works hard to advance the sport, and in turn, provides his wrestlers opportunties that are above and beyond those offered to other schools.

i agree with that, he's also one of the funniest coaches, as well.

I thought I’d add a little to Matt’s bio (or roast).
I think I’ve known Matt as long as he has been coaching at Skyline. He is a great coach for those guys, but takes a big step further. He is a coach and mentor to many kids in the Valley that don’t attend SHS. He teaches good technique, hard work, and has fun doing it. I trust my son with VERY few coaches, not just because of what they may or may not know, but because I expect these men to demonstrate personal virtues and leadership that will make him better as a wrestler and a better man; Matt gets it done here also. We all have our bad days; I can’t remember seeing any of Matt’s.
